AFEW releases the AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE ™ III "Beauty of Imperfection". The inspiration is also found in the Wabi-Sabi philosophy and is also reflected in the tear-off upper.
The AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III "Beauty Of Imperfection" sneaker is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy and is meant to embody that beauty lies in imperfection. The upper is kept in beige while the heel stands out in purple. While the stripes on the outside consist of a green “Wear Away Upper”, the stripes on the inside of the foot are only indicated by purple stitching. The Asics Tiger Stripes from the “Wear Away Upper” change color from green to pink when worn.
