To say Australian Rod Laver has left a deep and meaningful impact on the game of tennis would be an understatement.
Laver was rated the number - one professional tennis player from 1964 - 1970, and his legacy is marked by tournaments and stadiums named in his honor - the Laver Cup and Rod Laver Arena respectively - and of course one of adidas’ most beloved tennis shoes, the Rod Laver.
One of the first ever signature sport shoes, the adidas Rod Laver silhouette first debuted in 1970. The Rod Laver pack features two new colourways using recycled textile main material, split suede overlays, copper foil branding details and terry cloth lining material.
