PATTA X DIADORA N9000 "GAME-ON"
To pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of Diadora's iconic runner, the brand joined forces with Dutch streetwear boutique Patta and together they worked on their fifth project.
The shoes evoke Patta's historic relationship with football and take inspiration from a beloved Italian striker of the 90s. The “9” detail on the heel recalls in style the famous Christian “Bobo” Vieri football shirt. During his career, the striker has almost always worn the number 9 and with it he has led many of his teams to victory. Vieri is one of the best strikers in the history of Italian football and at one point the most expensive footballer in the world, breaking all records when he was traded from Lazio to Inter Milan in the summer of 1999 for 43 million Euros.
During his football career he was sponsored by Diadora in the early 2000s, a period in which he earned even more victories and leagues, as well as being voted by Pele in the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 best living footballers. The Patta x Diadora N9000 Game On is Made in Italy and features an upper composed of reverse nubuck, full-grain leather and airmesh nylon. The shoes are completed by black stitching and the classic rubber sole and respect the quality standards of the best Diadora collaborations.
