2016 marks the 100th year anniversary for Finnish sports brand KARHU. In celebrations of reaching this milestone London’s destination sneaker store Footpatrol, unites with KARHU, for their re-interpretation of the KARHU Fusion 2.0. The Fusion 2.0 is a modernised version of KARHU’s popular ‘96 runner the Fusion. Staying true to KARHU’s heritage, the Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 takes inspiration from Finland’s passion for outdoor activities and its’ best kept treasure - the forest. Around 65% of Finland’s total land area is covered in forest. The country is also known for their love of recreational sports such as hiking, skiing and walking. The Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 honours the Finnish outdoors dressed in an earthy colour palette suited for the oncoming winter season. Shoe details consist of a premium pigskin suede upper with perforated nubuck panels, hiking-inspired lace loops and 3M reflective details throughout.
